Requires the Department of Health and Welfare to conduct quality assurance reviews and audits of DD HCBS services providers. Defines permissible quality assurance activities as including records review, conducting satisfaction interviews, and watching providers deliver services. Authorizes the Department to require providers to implement quality improvement activities to solve deficiencies or take corrective action when quality improvement activities will not be sufficient. Defines corrective action as including the issuance of a corrective action plan, referring the provider to theMedicaid Program Integrity Unit, or moving against the Medicaid provider agreement.
