Defines the administration of prescriptive medical/cosmetic devices and products (e.g., collagen injections, liposuction, etc.) as the practice of medicine. Requires a licensed physician to evaluate and assess a patient and document this assessment in the patient’s record prior to providing an initial cosmetic treatment. Requires a physician supervise medical personnel who administer prescriptive medical/cosmetic devices and products. Requires supervising physicians to disclose to patients that the person performing their treatment is not a licensed physician. Clarifies that such disclosure can occur by using signs, name tags, oral statements, or other means to put a patient on notice. Requires supervising physicians to report patient complaints to Board of Medicine.
