Idaho Code Ann. § 57-2001, Purpose of Registry

Specifies the issues that the Time Sensitive Emergency (TSE) Registry is meant to identify and evaluate (e.g., trauma, stroke, and heart attack surveillance, trauma incidence, etc.) Requires the TSE Registry to collect data sufficient to identify issues regarding access to care, assess the performance emergency care both in hospitals and outside of hospitals, and assess the outcomes of TSE victims. Requires the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Preparedness to use TSE Registry data to prepare an annual report and to regularly release aggregated and de-identified analytical reports for use in establishing quality measures.
