Vt. Stat. Ann. tit. 18, § 1048 - Examination; report regarding tuberculosis or other chronic respiratory disease treatment under the health law

“Examination; report; treatment under the health law”

After examining an indigent person seeking treatment for tuberculosis or other chronic respiratory disease, a physician must immediately report his findings to the commissioner of health. Upon receipt of the report, the commissioner may authorize treatment of the patient.
