Tenn. Code Ann. § 68-1-1010 - Interstate Sharing of Information and Confidentiality Requirements

The commissioner of health may enter into a written agreement with other states that maintain cancer registries to exchange information on cancer patients; each state must agree to keep all patient identifying information confidential and require any researchers who use the information to keep the information confidential.
