The Tennessee program is known as Tennessee Medicaid or TennCare.  It is administered by the Tennessee Department of Human Services. Their website can be found here.  As of June 1, 2018, there were 1,471,264 individuals enrolled in the Tennessee Medicaid program.1

Health Information Exchange (if applicable)

Tennessee is in the process of establishing an HIE after dissolving in 2012 its first attempt.  Efforts are being coordinated by Tennessee’s Office of eHealth.  The East Tennessee Health Information Network (etHIN) is up and running; as is the Middle Tennessee eHealth Connect (MTeHC).

APCD (if applicable) 

Tennessee had established the Tennessee All Payer Claims Database. It was maintained by the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration and TennCare, but it is unclear whether this APCD is still operational.
