Submission and Preparation of Cost Reports
Requires nursing facilities to submit cost reports to the Department of Health within five months of the end of the provider’s fiscal period. Permits the Department to authorize 30 day extensions for good cause. Specifies the information that providers must include in the cost report (e.g., facility or equipment purchase contracts, mortgage and loan agreements, Medicare cost report, etc.).
