Patient records in custody of individual health care providers
Requires health care providers to allow patients or their representatives an opportunity to examine their records or provide patients with a physical copy of their records. Permits providers to impose a reasonable fee in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Requires providers to maintain records of records requests.
