Idaho Code Ann. § 66-602, Declarations for Mental Health Treatment

Permits competent adults to a sign a declaration regarding their mental health treatment preferences; including their consent or refusal of such treatment. Requires declarations to include the name of an agent and an alternate agent. Provides that a declaration remains in effect until revoked in part or in full. Requires attending physicians or other providers to note the revocation in the person’s medical record.
