Idaho Admin. Code r. 27.01.01.403, Filing Prescription Drug Orders: Adaptation

Allows pharmacists to adapt drugs if a patient consents and their prescriber has not prohibited adaptation. Defines permissible adaptations as including changes in quantity or dosage form. Permits pharmacists to fill-in information missing from a prescription if they have evidence to support their additions. Requires pharmacists to document adaptations in patient records.
