Idaho Code Ann. § 54-5510, Client Protection — Unprofessional Conduct

Defines “unprofessional conduct" by licensed midwives as including violations of a client’s right to privacy, breaches of confidentiality, submission of false or fraudulent birth certificates, reports, or records, and failure to provide clients with sufficient information prior to obtaining their informed consent. Defines “privacy” in relation to a client’s person, possessions, condition, and medical records.
