Idaho Code Ann. § 39-4503, Persons Who May Consent to Their Own Care

Declares persons as competent to consent to medical care if they are able to comprehend their need for medical care, the nature of the care, and the risks associated with the care. Allows health care providers to provide care in reliance on a person’s consent if that person appears to meet the aforementioned competency standard when giving their consent.
