Requires hospitals that provide rehabilitation services to offer, at minimum, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and audiology and to develop written policies and procedures for each of these services. Requires providers to develop a written treatment plan for each patient and to maintain records of their rehabilitation. Specifies the information that must be documented in these records (e.g., patient progress, discharge planning, etc.).
