Establishes criteria for the ‘person-centered planning’ process that must occur in ICFs/ID. Grants the participant the ability to direct the planning process, choose who they want to participate in the planning meetings, and choose who they would like facilitate these meetings. Requires facilities to complete the person-centered planning process as soon as possible. Clarifies that there is no time limitation on completing his process because it should be extensive, and comprehensive. Requires the planning process to meet the criteria established in Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.03.10.316 (addresses cultural considerations, use of plain language, conflicts of interest, etc.).
