Specifies the information that providers must include when submitting prior authorization requests for inpatient behavioral health services (e.g., diagnosis, prognosis, medical history). Requires an interdisciplinary team to establish a plan of care upon a participant’s admission and specifies the information that the plan must address (e.g., treatment objectives, therapies designed to meet the objectives, a discharge plan that includes ways to coordinate community services, etc.).
