“Emergency medical services quality assurance; immunity from liability under the Raymond H. Alexander, M.D., Emergency Medical Transportation Services Act”
An emergency medical review committee must review the professional medical competence of emergency technicians and paramedics. Any person who participated in an emergency medical review committee’s proceedings is not civilly liable for any action by the committee. Information and records used by an emergency medical review committee are confidential and privileged.
