Name of Medicaid Program(s) and number of people participating

The Florida program is simply known as Florida Medicaid.  It is administered by the Florida Department of Children and Families.  Their website can be found here.  As of June 1, 2018, there were 4,211,000 individuals enrolled in the Florida Medicaid program.1

Health Information Exchange (if applicable)

Florida operates the Florida Health Information Exchange (HIE).  The Florida HIE was established under a Cooperative Agreement with the ONC in March of 2010. Harris Corporation, an international communications and information technology company, was selected to implement a statewide health information exchange infrastructure.

APCD (if applicable) 

Florida's APCD is currently in the implementation stage. Once up and running, it will be maintained by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
