The Department of Health and Social Services must establish a cancer registry to document every occurrence of cancer and benign tumors. Physicians, surgeons, dentists, podiatrists, other health care practitioners, hospitals, other health care facilities that treat cancer or benign tumors, and laboratories must report cases of cancer or benign tumors to the registry.
