Law Atlas Releases 50 State Map on Public Health Departments and State Patient Confidentiality Laws

Law Atlas has recently released a 50 State Map on state laws and regulations addressing public health departments' ability to release and use personally identifiable information to promote public health and coordinate care. More specifically, this resource looks at laws and regulations on HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Tuberculosis, and how public health departments may use, release, or report this information, while abiding by state privacy and confidentiality laws and regulations.
