Name of Medicaid Program(s) and number of people participating

The Alaska program is simply known as Alaska Medicaid or the Alaska Medical Assistance Program.  It is administered by the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Assistance http://dhss.alaska.gov/dpa/pages/medicaid/default.aspx. As of June 1, 2018, there were 206,727 individuals enrolled in the Alaska Medicaid program.1

Alaska has various forms of HIE up and running and in different stages of implementation.  Over 12 different state agencies are involved with the state HIE efforts.  Alaska has a state HIE cooperative agreement with the federal ONC, which outlines the Alaska Health Information Exchange Program.
