Nonprofit shelters and nonprofit health care facilities must keep records of all patients who receive medical, dental, or other health-related diagnosis care, or treatment at the shelter or facility. The department of health will monitor the quality of care provided to patients; the monitoring may be conducted by contracting with another entity or through any other method authorized by law.
