Wis. Stat. Ann. § 252.09 - Meningococcal disease and hepatitis B

This law requires that each private college and university do the following:

  • Provide information on risks of meningococcal disease and hepatitis B, and on the availability of vaccines to each student
  • Require a student who lives in a dormitory to confirm that s/he received this information
  • Require a student who lives in a dormitory to disclose whether or not they have been vaccinated against either disease and to provide dates of vaccination
  • Maintain a confidential record of the students’ affirmations and the dates of vaccinations
