Vt. Stat. Ann. tit. 18, § 1918 - Enforcement against hospitals in connection with reporting requirements under the health law

“Enforcement under the health law”

If the Department of Health determines that a hospital failed to comply with reporting requirements, the department may sanction the hospital. A hospital that knowingly violates the law may be fined up to $10,000.00 or, in the case of a continuing violation, $100,000.00 or 0.1% of the gross annual revenues of the health care facility, whichever is greater.
