Vt. Stat. Ann. tit. 14, § 3075 - Consent for medical or dental treatment under the decedents’ estates and fiduciary relations law

“Consent for medical or dental treatment under the decedents’ estates and fiduciary relations law”

A person under guardianship retains the right to make medical and dental decisions. If the person has an advance directive, the advance directive must remain in effect. If there is no agent named in the advance directive or if the office of agent is vacant, the guardian must follow the instructions contained in the advance directive.
