“Enforcement under the Agency of Human Service regulations”
The Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living’s division of licensing and protection may inspect or investigate nursing facilities. If the department finds that the nursing facility violated a rule or statute, the department must notify the nursing facility of the violation and sanction the facility for a failure to correct the violation. The department may require a nursing facility to take corrective action to eliminate a violation of a rule or state statute within a specified period of time.
