Third-party cooperation regarding liability information – Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 5160.39

A third party must cooperate with the department of job and family services in identifying individuals for whom the third party is liable for payment under the Medicaid program, and will provide the department information and/or access to information in the third party’s electronic data system on request.  The information provided by a third party is confidential and not a public record.  The department will limit its use of information gained from third parties to purposes directly connected with administration of the Medicaid program and the child support program.
