Reporting of occupational diseases - R.I. Gen. Laws Ann. § 23-5-5

Physicians must report occupational diseases, as specified by regulation, to the department of health within 30 days of evaluating a patient that they believe has a occupational disease. The report must identify the patient and their employer, describe the patient’s occupation and the employer’s business, and identify the type of occupational disease.
