Powers and duties of executive director - hepatitis C program
Requires the Executive Director of the Department of Public Health and Environment to establish a hepatitis C program as a means of coordinating with providers and public health officials to identify high risk populations and to provide education and outreach regarding hepatitis C risks, transmission, treatment, and the availability of screening services. Authorizes the Director, subject to available funding, to collect and investigate reports of hepatitis C cases, create statistical reports of these cases, and report these cases to the CDC.
