The Department of Human Services must maintain a complete record of all reports filed regarding patient abuse in long terms care facilities. Each incident reported must be determined to be abuse, other licensing violation, or no violation. Cases determined to be abuse or a licensing violation must be further classified based on whether they were substantiated or unsubstantiated.
