All insurers offering managed health insurance must have a quality assessment program that allows the insurer to monitor and improve the quality of health services provided to its enrollees. The insurer is also required to file a report with the Department of Consumer and Business Services that describes the insurer’s quality assessment activities. The insurer has to file an annual report describing health promotion and disease prevention activities.
