A person cannot be held liable for the disclosure of confidential information relating to the good faith reporting to the cancer or benign tumor registry data or cancer mortality or morbidity studies.  Health facilities or practitioners cannot have their licenses revoked due to disclosure of such data to the cancer and benign tumor registry or to cancer mortality or morbidity studies.  This exemption from liability does not apply to the disclosure of confidential information due to gross negligence or willful misconduct.
