Or. Rev. Stat. § 192.581 - Allowed Retention or Disclosure of Genetic Information

A health care provider may retain an individual’s genetic information without obtaining authorization from the individual or his or her personal representative, if it is retained for the provider's treatment, payment or health care operations.  A health care provider may also disclose an individual’s genetic information without the individual or his or her personal representative's authorization if the provider discloses the information in accordance with Or. Rev. Stat. § 192.558.
