This regulation lists the specific information from case records that needs to be safeguarded: names and addresses of applicants or recipients; information in applications and correspondence; investigative reports; reports of medical examinations, diagnostic tests, including reports relating to HIV or AIDS; information about resources; financial statements; reports of agency evaluation of this information. The regulation specifies that this rule even applies to all information secured by the agency, even if it is not contained in the actual written record.
