Name of Medicaid Program(s) and number of people participating

The New York program is known as New York Medicaid or the Partnership for Long Term Care.  It is administered by the New York Department of Health. Their website can be found here.  As of June 1, 2018, there were 6,473,100 individuals enrolled in the New York Medicaid program.1

New York has several regional HIEs in various stages of development, coordinated by the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC).  Some of the more developed HIEs in New York include the Health Information Exchange of New York (HIXNY); Healthix; the Taconic Health Information Network and Community (THINC); and Health Link NY.
