Mich. Comp. Laws Ann. § 400.606 - Obtaining payment or allowance of false claim; felony; penalty

Under the Medicaid False Claims Act, it is illegal to enter into an agreement or conspiracy to defraud the State of Michigan by aiding or getting payment of a false claim under Medicaid.  A person who violates this section is guilty of a felony to be punishable by imprisonment for a maximum of 10 years or a maximum of fine of $50,000, or both.
