Mich. Admin. Code r. 325.9086 - Confidentiality of reports

The Agency must maintain the confidentiality of all blood lead test reports and must not disclose any information that would identify a specific patient. The Agency may, however, disclose reported information if the patient submits written consent for disclosure, if the reports are necessary for a law enforcement investigation, or if the reports are needed to protect the public health. All information released to the legislature for epidemiological purposes must not disclose identifying information.
