Upon request by the Department of Human Services, all state agencies are required to provide the Department with information on those receiving Medicaid benefits or individuals responsible for Medicaid beneficiaries. Similarly, a nonprofit hospital or medical service organization is required to provide the Department with a list of people with health insurance coverage with the organization or insurer.
