Kan. Stat. Ann. § 65-6721, Partial birth abortion

Establishes standards and procedures for performing partial birth abortions. Requires a physician to determine that a partial birth abortion is necessary and to report their determination and justification for the procedure to the medical care facility in which the aborticon will occur. Requires the medical care facility to include this information when reporting the abortion to the Secretary of Health and Environment. Requires the Secretary to adopt rules that specify the information that must be reported. Establishes a civil cause of action for the parents or guardians of a pregnant person under the age of 18 who receives an abortion or, the father of the aborted fetus if he is married to the person who received the abortion. Makes violations this section a level 8 person felony.
