Requires administrators of hospitals, radiology oncology centers, pathology labs, and ambulatory surgical centers to report treated or diagnosed cancer cases to the cancer registry within six months of the diagnosis. Limits the reporting obligation to only that information which is available in the facility’s medical or administrative records. Requires licensed medical practitioners, dentists, adult care home administrators, and hospice administrators to report specified information to the cancer registry (e.g., social security number of diagnosed patient, cancer site, etc.). Specifies the information that providers and facility administrators must report to the registry upon request (e.g., recurrence of tumors, follow-up treatment). Permits reporting electronically or in paper form. Requires data reporting to occur securely and confidentially.
