Permits pharmacists to fill prescriptions for non-schedule II drugs that are transferred to their pharmacy so long as they comply with requirements regarding the cancelation of the prescription order at the originating pharmacy and maintenance of records. Authorizes pharmacists to transfer prescriptions electronically. Exempts pharmacies that use a common electronic record system from compliance with the cancelation requirements so long as they keep the record up to date. Clarifies that the transfer and filling of schedule III, IV, and V drugs are subject to federal regulations.
