Requires hospitals to maintain medical records for all patients and to have a medical records service to oversee retention and indexing of these records. Establishes medical record retention periods and classifies records as confidential. Specifies the information that must be documented in medical records (e.g., medical exam results, diagnoses, notes from medical professionals, etc.).
