Establishes standards for hospital anesthesia services. Requires a physician to document a patient’s medical history, test results, and physical exam results in the patient's record before the patient undergoes general anesthesia. Requires anesthesia personnel to develop a plan of care for the anesthesia and enter a pre-anesthesia evaluation and post anesthetic notes in the patient’s record.
