Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-34-52a, Patient rights
Requires hospitals to create policies and procedures to support patient rights and specifies the rights that such policies and procedures must address at minimum (e.g., rights to access medical records, receive information about their care, receive an explanation of their bill, etc.). Requires hospitals to have procedures for handling grievances and to comply with applicable Kansas laws regarding reporting of the abuse or neglect of patients or children.
