Ind. Code Ann. § 16-19-10-8 - Health Data Collection for Counterterrorism Purposes

This law requires that the department of health support Indiana’s counterterrorism programs by collecting data on symptoms of outbreaks or suspected outbreaks that may be a danger to public health.  The law further requires that health providers collect and report such data to the state department of health.  The law states that any such data that could identify a person is confidential.
