Ind. Code Ann. § 16-19-10-7 - Disclosure and Consent for Epidemiological Information

This law requires that released public health surveillances, public health investigations and epidemiological investigations protect the identities of the persons from whom medical information is collected.  Identifying information may be included when the person consents in writing to release the information or when the investigation results in an administrative or judicial proceeding and the release of medical information is ordered by the administrative law judge or court.
