Hospital professional review committees
Requires professional review committees that have concerns about the quality or appropriateness of care provided by licensed health care professionals in a hospital setting to refer the matter to an appropriate hospital review committee or discuss the matter with a representative of the health care professional’s profession. Classifies records, proceedings, and matters under consideration in regards to such professional review as confidential.
