“Psychotherapeutic services; records and reports under the insurance law”

A health maintenance organization or prepaid health clinic must maintain strict confidentiality of medical information. Medical information may be disclosed for utilization review, quality management, discharge planning, case management, or claims processing. Aggregate data may be disclosed to payors, sponsors, researchers, and accreditation bodies.
