“Public records exemption under the insurance law”

Personal financial and health information about health insurance enrollees held by the Department of Financial Services or the Office of Insurance Regulation are confidential. The information may only be disclosed to another governmental entity, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and the health insurer enrollee or the enrollee’s legally authorized representative.
