“Patient records; penalties for alteration under the public health law”
Any person who fraudulently alters or falsifies a nursing home’s medical record or release medical records for solicitation or marketing purposes without written authorization is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree and his license may be restricted, suspended or revoked.
