“Administration and management of nursing home facilities under the public health law”

Nursing homes must keep records of resident admissions and discharges, medical and health status, personal and social history, and identity and address of next of kin or other person who may have responsibility for the affairs of the resident. They must maintain clinical records on each resident.

Nursing homes must display a poster provided by the Agency for Health Care Administration containing the contact information for Florida’s abuse hotline, the State Long-term Care Ombudsman, the Agency’s consumer hotline, the Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, the Florida Statewide Advocacy Council, and the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
